The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines, producing high-quality components to tight tolerances.Key Responsibilities:Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machinesWorking with 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC machinesProgramming directly at the machine using Heidenhain controlsReading and interpreting engineering drawingsSetting tooling, workholding and machine parametersManufacturing large components to tight tolerancesInspecting and measuring your own work to ensure right-first-time qualityCompleting quality documentation and reportsSupporting and training other members of the team where requiredIdentifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costsMaintaining a safe, clean and organised working environmentRequirements:Previous experience programming, setting and operating CNC milling machinesStrong experience with Heidenhain controlsExperience with 5-axis millingIdeally 5+ years'' experience within CNC machiningExperience machining large components, up to ..... full job details .....
