CNC Miller / Precision Engineer Location: South Oxfordshire Hours: 40 hours per week flexible working hours Machines: Hurco CNC Mills Programming: Fusion 360 / Hurco WinMax An established, friendly precision engineering company in South Oxfordshire is looking for an experienced CNC Miller / Precision Engineer to join its small engineering team. This is a great opportunity for a proper hands-on engineer who enjoys varied, interesting work and solving engineering problems not simply loading a programme and pressing cycle start. The Role The role involves programming, setting and operating Hurco CNC milling machines, working across a varied range of precision engineering projects. Machines include Hurco VM10i, VMX30 and VM50Ti, with 4th-axis capability. The work is predominantly one-offs, prototypes and small batches, alongside modifications, repairs and reverse-engineered components. You''ll be trusted to take ownership of jobs, decide how best to manufacture components and select appropriate tooling, workholding and machining strategies. What You''ll Need Strong Hurco CNC milling experience Confident programming, setting and operating CNC mills independently Good knowledge of Hurco machines Fusion 360 CAD/CAM programming experience Hurco WinMax conversational programming skills Ability to work confidently from engineering drawings, CAD models and existing components Good understanding of tooling, feeds, speeds and workholding Experience with one-offs, prototypes and ..... full job details .....
