This is a great opportunity for a proper hands-on engineer who enjoys varied, interesting work and solving engineering problems – not simply loading a programme and pressing cycle start. The Role The role involves programming, setting and operating Hurco CNC milling machines, working across a varied range of precision engineering projects. Machines include Hurco VM10i, VMX30 and VM50Ti, with 4th-axis capability. The work is predominantly one-offs, prototypes and small batches, alongside modifications, repairs and reverse-engineered components. You'll be trusted to take ownership of jobs, decide how best to manufacture components and select appropriate tooling, workholding and machining strategies.
