CNC Miller Programmer Setter Operator

We are working with a reputable client based in Luton (LU3)-who require a

CNC Miller Programmer / Setter Operator-to join their team.

The position is a permanent role paying42,000 - -50,000-per annum-(DOE)-

Working Hours:-

Monday - Thursday 6am - 4pm or 8am - 6pm (40 hours per week)

28 days holiday (including-bank holidays) + Peoples Pension.

The ideal candidate will have experience-in working within an engineering-environment. The right candidate will have excellent-CNC programming-and setting-experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for programming-and setting-up to 5 axis-machinery
• Reading and interpreting technical information
• Writing-programmes from scratch using G and M codes-(online and offline)
• Familiar with managing and operating Fanuc controls
• Producing components to tight tolerances
• Ability to use a range of precision measuring instruments
• Quality checking components
• Other general duties when required

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years experience within a similar role-
• Must be PC-literate
• Excellent attention to detail
