This position is ideal for an experienced machinist confident working to complex aerospace-level tolerances and comfortable taking full ownership of machining processes from start to finish. Key Responsibilities Program, set, and operate 5-axis Matsuura MAM72 machining centres to produce high-precision components. Create and optimise CNC programmes using CAD/CAM software (e.g., CAMplete / Fusion / HyperMill or similar). Interpret complex engineering drawings, models, and specifications with strong understanding of GD&T. Carry out first-off inspections and in-process quality checks to ensure dimensional accuracy. Select tooling, workholding, and machining strategies to achieve optimal efficiency and surface finish.
