CNC Miller Programmer Applicants must have previous experience programming CNC milling machines using Hypermill CAM software. The RoleAs the CNC Miller Programmer, you will create, develop and optimise CNC programs for complex precision components while supporting production to maintain efficiency and quality. Duties and ResponsibilitiesProgramming complex 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC milling machines using Hypermill CAM software.Creating new programs from customer drawings and CAD models.Optimising existing programs to improve cycle times and machining efficiency.Supporting machine setters and operators during new product introductions.Selecting appropriate tooling, cutting strategies and machining methods.Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings and CAD data.Working to extremely tight tolerances.Liaising with engineering and production teams to resolve manufacturing issues.Ensuring all work complies with company quality procedures and health and safety standards.
