Job Title: CNC Miller Programmer (Nights)
Location: Tamworth
Shift: 4 day week - Monday to Thursday (Nights)
Pay: -49,000 DOE

Experience
- Extensive experience with Heidenhain programming on 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC machines, including machine setup and operation in a precision engineering environment.
- Proficient in modern CAD/CAM software, particularly Edgecam, and committed to applying "Best Practice" manufacturing methodologies.
- Skilled in creating and proving out new CNC production programs to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Capable of running proven programs, adjusting work coordinates, and correcting errors as needed.
- Collaborates closely with the Production Engineer to optimize designs for manufacturability (DFM).
- Actively contributes to continuous improvement by developing and refining processes, tools, and techniques to adopt the latest technologies.
- Demonstrates a proactive, "can-do" attitude and consistently functions as a reliable team player.
- Effectively handles constraints and seeks support from peers or the Manufacturing team when necessary.
- Promotes a high standard of housekeeping and supports 5S principles across the manufacturing environment.
Candidate
- Minimum 3 years'' operating 3, 4 and 5 Axis Machining Centre''s
- The ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Participates and supports continuous improvement teams and other working groups.
- To be able to pre-set tooling and fixtures from tool layout. Take tool length offsets and recognize when tooling requires replacing due to wear or breakage.
- To be able to communicate information in a coherent fashion at all levels.
