Job Role: CNC Miller Programmer

Location or Commutable from: Leicestershire, Birmingham, Daventry, and Coventry

Shift: 39 Hours P/W choice of shifts either 6am-3pm, 6:30am-3:30pm, 7am-4pm or 7:30-4:30pm

Pay Rate / Salary: -1819 P/H

The Company

Join a growing precision manufacturing team, specialising in aerospace and defence industries. The company is looking for a CNC Miller Programmer who is looking to develop into a Cell Lead. In this role, you''ll be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines with a focus on accuracy and high-quality output. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual with a strong background in CNC machining and Heidenhain controls.

The Job Role Position:

• Program and operate CNC milling machines using Heidenhain controls
• Monitor machine operations and make real-time adjustments to ensure precision and accuracy
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safety-compliant work environment
• To develop and eventually lead a cell containing up to four machinists.

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate for the job role position will have;

• Proven experience as a CNC Miller Programmer
• Some Management experience is desirable, but not essential as the client will consider candidates with no management experience to train
• Strong working knowledge of Heidenhain controls
• Team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills
• To have a desire to progress and develop management skills
