The Company is an established precision engineering company that design and manufacture products within the Aerospace industry.

The Role

Optima are looking for a skilled CNC Miller Machinist/ Programmer to join our Precision Manufacturing client based in Portsmouth. The CNC Machinist/Programmer will be responsible for producing machined parts by programming, setting up and operating a CNC machine, maintaining equipment and supplies for a highly reputable company.

The Candidate

• Experience in 5 axis experience.
• Experience in Heidenhain control.
• Programming not essential however would be preferred, (Hypermill)
• The candidate must be self-motivated and driven.
• Must have high attention to detail.
• Able to use a wide variety of measuring equipment.
• Good communication skills are also essential.
