This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist with aerospace experience to be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC milling machinery while supporting continuous improvement initiatives, reducing waste, and maintaining a zero-defect manufacturing philosophy. Key ResponsibilitiesProgramme, set and operate CNC Mills using Bridgeport Vertical Mills with Heidenhain controls and Haas Mills with Fanuc controls Manufacture precision aerospace components from aluminium, stainless steel and Inconel Coordinate programming and setting activities alongside existing setters Carry out first-off inspections and in-process quality checks Assist in the operation of other machinery including thread rollers, grinders, drill banks, torque testers and deburring equipment Maintain machine efficiency to achieve production KPIs, on-time delivery targets and parts per hour objectives Identify opportunities to reduce ..... full job details .....
