CNC Miller - NightsAbout the RoleWe are looking for an experienced CNC Miller - Nights to join our manufacturing team in Basildon. This is an excellent opportunity for a fully skilled, time-served CNC Setter/Operator with strong milling experience to work in a precision engineering environment.You will be responsible for setting and operating CNC milling machines to produce high-quality precision components from engineering drawings, working to tight tolerances and maintaining consistently high standards of quality, safety and efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesSet and operate CNC milling machines, including 3 and 5-axis machines.Produce precision components accurately and efficiently from engineering drawings.Work to tight tolerances and inspect your own work to ensure it meets required standards.Carry out quality checks on completed components.Interpret engineering drawings and follow written manufacturing instructions.Use a wide range of precision measuring equipment.Work independently and use your initiative to resolve manufacturing issues.Maintain a high level of concentration and attention to detail throughout the manufacturing process.Clean and maintain CNC machines, associated equipment and the working area.Follow all company health, safety, quality and environmental procedures.Work in accordance with ISO 50001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 9001 standards.Contribute to continual improvement across manufacturing, quality, health and safety, environmental, energy and ..... full job details .....
