CNC Miller - Setter-Operator Reporting To: MGL/ Production Manager Pay: Negotiable Job Location: Bristol (on site) Term: 6 months Job Purpose Our client manufactures high-precision components for demanding industries, and have multiple opportunities across their manufacturing sites. The CNC Miller - Setter-Operator will set, operate CNC Milling machines tools to produce component parts to drawing and process requirements. They will assist in the manufacturing of parts through the production process, ensuring planned times for setting and manufacturing are met or improved; and high quality parts produced within required performance, cost and delivery targets. Key Responsibilities Accountabilities Setting and operating 3/4/5 axis CNC milling machines using Heidenhain and/or Fanuc controls and. Producing high complexity components from a range of materials Adhering to quality standards Involvement and attendance at SQDCP meetings in assigned area/s Ensuring performance of part production to planned set and run times and Quality requirements Communicating Not Right first time (NRFT) within assigned areas Assisting the Manufacturing Group Leader in improving the 5S organisation of the team area Responsible for ensuring correct materials, Route Cards, drawing are used to produce components Setting up tools, offsets etc ready for your own operation to commence and assist Operators where appropriate Ensuring Delivery Schedule Adherence of parts to system / route card dates ..... full job details .....
