This is an excellent opportunity for a CNC Miller / PowerMill Programmer to work on a variety of complex, high-precision components across multiple industry sectors, using advanced CNC machining technology within a modern manufacturing environment.The Role As a CNC Miller / PowerMill Programmer, you will be responsible for:Offline programming using Autodesk PowerMillSetting and operating 3-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machinesProducing complex components to tight tolerancesReading and interpreting engineering drawings and CAD dataSelecting tooling and optimising machining strategiesConducting in-process inspection and quality checksWorking closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to deliver high-quality componentsCandidate Requirements The successful CNC Miller / PowerMill Programmer will have:Previous experience as a CNC Miller Programmer/OperatorStrong knowledge of PowerMill CAM softwareExperience with 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machiningAbility to program, set and operate CNC milling machines independentlyExperience machining a range of materialsStrong understanding of engineering drawings, tolerances and quality standardsPrototype, tooling, motorsport, aerospace or precision engineering experience ..... full job details .....
