CNC Miller (4 and 5 Axis)First Achieve Engineering Recruitment are acting on behalf of our client, a well-establishedprecision engineering company, to recruit an experienced CNC Miller to join their skilledmanufacturing team.The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality precisioncomponents while maintaining exceptional standards of accuracy and workmanship.Salary: Up to £22.00 per hour (depending on experience)Hours: Monday to Friday - Day Shift (39 hours per week)Key Responsibilities Set, operate and programme CNC milling machines. Machine precision components to engineering drawings and customer specifications. Operate 4 and 5 axis CNC machining centres. Select appropriate tooling and machining methods. Carry out first-off and in-process inspections using measuring equipment. Ensure components meet quality standards and tight tolerances. Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues where required. Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment. Work effectively to meet production deadlines.Essential Requirements Proven experience as a CNC Miller within a precision engineering environment. Experience setting and operating 4 and 5 axis CNC milling machines. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Experience working to fine tolerances. Competent using inspection equipment including micrometres, verniers and gauges.Desirable Skills Experience with Heidenhain controls would be advantageous.
