The Role Setting and operating CNC milling machines Working on 3-axis and 4-axis machining centres Editing and amending Fanuc programs at the machine Manufacturing precision components to tight tolerances Machining a range of materials including steels, titanium and engineering plastics Maintaining quality standards and completing self-inspection checks Requirements Previous experience operating and setting CNC milling machines Ability to use Fanuc controls confidently Experience with Haas and/or Bridgeport milling machines advantageous Strong background machining precision components Ability to amend programs and make offsets independently Experience working within a high-precision or aerospace environment preferred Good understanding of engineering drawings and toleran...
