The Role

My client are expanding their team and are looking to hire a skilled CNC Miller. You will be adopting their ‘right first time’ philosophy, being expected to achieve high standards of quality, with a focus on the continual improvement of working processes.

CNC Miller

Main Responsibilities

·      Set up tools onto CNC Machines

·      Load materials onto CNC Machines.

·      Measure components, through the use of measuring instruments (verniers, calipers, gauges, micrometers.

·      Engage with continuous improvement initiatives.

·      Completion of traceability and quality documentation.

CNC Miller

The Candidate

·      Time served precision engineer (or equivalent).

·      Experience on CNC Milling machinery.

·      CNC controls – Mazak, Fanuc, Okuma (ideally).

·      Must be able to set up, operate and adjust CNC machines.

·      Some milling experience would be preferred.

·      Prior experience of working with stainless steels.

·      Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
