CNC Programmer / Manufacturing Engineer

Adept Resourcing are recruiting for a CNC Professional on behalf of our client.

A solid role for someone who understands machining, enjoys solving problems, and wants to play a key part in improving shop floor performance.

Shift pattern of 8 - 4, Monday - Friday.

Temporary for 6 months with strong likelihood of going permanent.

You''ll work closely with the Mould Shop leadership team, supporting CNC operations, programming, process improvement and production readiness.

What you''ll be doing:

• Writing, editing and simulating CNC programs

• Reviewing CAD models (Inventor / SolidCAM)

• Supporting prove-outs and new machining processes

• Improving manufacturing methods and work holding

• Preparing CNC teams for upcoming work

• Producing technical documentation (SOPs, tooling & inspection sheets)

• Providing technical support across the shop floor

What we''re looking for:

• Experience with Fanuc / XYZ controls

• Background in CNC machining, milling & turning

• Experience with CAD/CAM

• Strong attention to detail

• Good communication and organisational skills

• Understanding of 6S / Lean manufacturing

• Toolroom apprenticeship (desirable)
