CNC Miller - Programmer, Setter, Operator

UK BASED ONLY CANDIDATES WITHIN A COMMUTABLE DISTANCE FROM CHESTER.-

Contek are working with a client based in Chester who are recruiting for a CNC Miller to join their team. You will be joining an experienced team of engineers and will be well versed as a CNC Miller Programmer or an advanced Setter/Operator.-

If you are a competent Setter/Operator who is willing and capable of learning to program we will also consider your application.-

This company offer a very busy machine shop, being a sub-contractor no two days are the same. They serve a variety of sectors from Aerospace, Oil and Gas and FMCG to name a few.-

Responsibilities:

• CNC Milling - Programming, Setting and Operating.
• Using Fanuc controls to program from scratch.-
• Work to drawings.
• Ensure components manufactured are within tolerance.-
• Working within a team or independently to ensure orders are fulfilled OTIF.-

Desired:

• Ideally Apprenticeship served or a solid engineering foundation.-
• 3+ Years experience programming using G/M Code based software.
• Willing to put extra hours in with overtime where needed.-
• Sub-contract background or similar environment.-

Hours:

Monday to Thursday
07:30 - 16:00
Friday
07:30 - 13:00
