Working in our machine shop, you will be responsible for setting, operating, and programming CNC milling machines to produce precision components to tight tolerances, for the motorsport and aerospace industries. The successful CNC Miller will be responsible for: Set up and operate CNC milling machines (3-axis, 4-axis, or 5-axis) Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to manufacture components to exacting F1 and aerospace standards Perform in-process quality checks using precision measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, height gauges, CMM knowledge advantageous) Complete Works Order Route Cards accurately and maintain full traceability of components Edit and optimise CNC programs where authorised Liaise with customer contacts regarding job requirements, technical queries Contribute to the quoting process by providing time estimates and technical input for new and existing work Excellent attention to detail and takes pride in a clean and organised workplace producing high quality work.
