A forward-thinking and well-established engineering company is looking to recruit an experienced CNC Miller to join its growing team. This is a permanent position offering a 4-day working week, with regular overtime available. This is an excellent opportunity where they are looking for someone to progress into a team leader role. Role Overview: The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines to produce precision components to high standards. Key Responsibilities: Programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines Interpreting and working from engineering drawings Producing one-off and small batch components to tight tolerances Conducting in-process and final inspection of parts Working independently and within a team to meet production deadlines Requirements: Proven experience as a CNC Miller Ability to programme at the machine is essential Experience with offline programming (e.g. CAD/CAM) is advantageous Familiarity with Hurco machines and controls is beneficial but not essential Good understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances Strong attention to detail and quality-focused approach What We Offer: 4-day working week (Monday to Thursday) Regular overtime opportunities Modern workshop environment Supportive and forward-thinking team culture Opportunities for skill development and progression ..... full job details .....
