CNC Miller Programmer / Setter / Operator Location: Christchurch Salary: £19.00 - £22.00 per hour (DOE) Hours: Day Shift Job Type: Permanent, Full Time Actio Recruitment are recruiting Actio Recruitment is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established precision engineering company based in Christchurch who are looking for an experienced CNC Miller Programmer, Setter and Operator to join their skilled machining team on a permanent day shift. The Role Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines Producing precision components to tight tolerances Editing and proving out programs at the machine Reading and interpreting engineering drawings Selecting appropriate tooling and cutting parameters Conducting first-off and in-process inspections Maintaining quality and productivity standards Working closely with the production and quality teams Candidate Requirements Previous experience as a CNC Miller Programmer, Setter and Operator Ability to programme directly at the machine Experience with Fanuc, Heidenhain, Haas or similar controls advantageous Strong knowledge of precision machining techniques Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings Competent using measuring equipment including verniers, micrometers and gauges Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail Positive attitude and strong work ethic What''s on Offer?
