CNC Miller Programmer / Setter / Operator Portsmouth Area Dayshift £19.50 - £20.50 per hour Permanent Position Actio Recruitment are delighted to be assisting a well-established engineering company in the Portsmouth area in their search for an experienced CNC Miller Programmer, Setter and Operator. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy manufacturer producing high-quality precision components for a range of industries. The Role Working on a permanent dayshift (40 hrs p/w), you will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines with Hurco controls, ensuring quality standards and production targets are consistently achieved. Duties will include: Programming CNC milling machines using Hurco controls Setting and operating CNC machining centres Reading and interpreting engineering drawings Producing precision components to tight tolerances Conducting in-process inspection using standard measuring equipment Making tooling and offset adjustments as required Maintaining high standards of quality, safety and housekeeping Candidate Requirements Proven experience as a CNC Miller Programmer, Setter and Operator Strong knowledge of Hurco controls preferable but open to programmers with experience of other controls as training will be provided Ability to program at the machine from engineering drawings Experience machining a variety of materials Able to work independently and as part of a team Good understanding of quality inspection ..... full job details .....
