Then get in touch! Kingston Barnes has an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer for one of our clients in North Somerset. The Role: Day-to-day production support across a variety of manufacturing processes, including turning, milling and grinding Actively contribute to the channel cross functional team solving daily issues Data driven process capability and process improvement activities Customer interface for engineering changes Technical interface with suppliers New product introduction activities, including manufacturing process and layout creation, prototyping and serial production support Lead costing and quoting exercises Defining manufacturing instructions, CNC machine program creation (CAM) and creating technical documents Support implementation of new CNC equipment Support reduction of scrap, loss and rework through process control and improvement Liaise with Design Office, Supply Chain, Planning, Customer Service, EHS and Quality Assurance functions Qualifications and Experience Essential 5+ years experience in a manufacturing environment HNC/Degree in a technical discipline Problem solving experience (5Why, A3, 8D) Process knowledge of either turning, milling and/or grinding New Product Introduction experience Desirable Experience of NC programming for single ..... full job details .....
