This opportunity has arisen due to a long-serving Maintenance Engineer approaching retirement. The business is looking to recruit ahead of time to allow a structured handover and knowledge transfer period, giving the successful candidate the opportunity to work closely alongside an experienced engineer and gain valuable machine-specific knowledge. The site operates highly technical 5-axis CNC machinery, requiring a strong mechanically biased engineer with excellent fault-finding and diagnostic capability across mechanical, electrical and PLC-controlled systems.
