Successful candidates will be highly experienced with running complex 5 axis machining centres, ideally using Mazatrol Smooth operating software. Position Description: Setting and operating of 5 axis CNC machining centres for the manufacture of high precision, high quality, and low volume machined parts used in the assembly of critical system supplied to the maritime industry. Responsibilities: - Responsible for machining of parts on 5 axis CNC machining centres - Stropping, lifting and loading materials (use of slings and overhead cranes) - Working to engineering drawings and making CNC programming edits - Tooling set up, support with program and process improvement activities - Undertaking program prove out activities, parts measurement and inspection - Ensuring product quality and conformance to specification - Perform machine TPM activities and ensure good area housekeeping - Work safely in line with the companies Health and Safety policy Essential Experience: - High level of competency in setting and operating 5 axis machining centres. - Experience of I.S.O progr...
