The Job for CNC Millers Set up and operate CNC milling machines (3-axis, 4-axis, or 5-axis as applicable) Create part programmes when necessary Load programs, set tool offsets, and perform test runs Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for each job Monitor machining processes and make necessary adjustments Carry out in process inspection using measuring tools (callipers, micrometres, gauges, etc.) Maintain tight tolerances and surface finish requirements Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting Identify and correct machining defects or errors The Job for CNC Turners Set up and operate CNC turning machines (CNC lathes) Create part programmes when necessary Load CNC programs, set tool offsets, and prove out programs...
