CNC Machinists (4 day week)

Maxwell Consultancy have opportunities for CNC Millers and Turners in Glasgow working for a market leader in precision engineering.  These are full time, permanent positions based in their state of the art workshop.  Working a 4 day week from Monday to Thursday with Fridays off.  The company have been going from strength to strength in recent times with an extremely healthy order book.

What's required?

• Time served CNC Machinist or vast experience working as CNC Machinist
• Setting and operating either machining centres, mills or lathes
• Produce right first-time components, from customer’s drawings, to required cycle times
• Maintain a cost-effective standard of production
• Work towards continuous improvement methods within the workshop
• Experience with FANUC or Siemens controls desirable but not essential
• Programming completed offline in the office
• Adhere to health and safety regulations in the workshop at all times
• Rotating 2 weeks between day shift (£19.50 per hour) and night shift  (£26 per hour).
