Location: Commutable for Edinburgh, Livingston, Falkirk, Hamilton and Surrounding Areas
Shift Pattern: 3-Shift Rotation (Moving to Continental Shift Pattern after 3 months)
Salary: Circa -40,000 - -41,000 during the initial training period, rising to -46,000 - -48,000 per annum after transitioning to continental shifts.

We''re recruiting experienced CNC Machinists on behalf of our client, a globally recognised manufacturing business based in Livingston. During your first three months, you''ll complete your training and induction on a Monday to Friday rotating shift pattern. Once fully trained, you''ll move onto a 4 on, 4 off continental shift pattern, with your salary increasing to circa -46,000 - -48,000 per annum.

Initial Training 3- Shift Pattern (First 3 Months)

Following successful completion of your training period, you''ll transition onto a 4 on, 4 off continental shift pattern, offering an increased salary of circa -46,000 - -48,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting and operating CNC milling and/or turning machines.
• Loading CNC programs and making tooling offsets.
• Manufacturing precision-engineered components to technical drawings and specifications.
• Carrying out quality inspections using precision measuring equipment.
• Working to strict quality, safety and compliance standards.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the machining department.

Candidate Requirements

• Time-served CNC Machinist or HNC (or equivalent) in Engineering.
• At least 2 years'' experience within a CNC machining environment.
• Experience setting and operating CNC machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality components.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts before moving onto a continental shift pattern.
