The company specialises in the manufacture of high-precision components, working from prototypes and short batches through to larger volume production. The machining facility includes modern CNC turning and milling equipment, twin-spindle and multi-axis machinery. Responsibilities include: Operating CNC turning and/or milling machinery. Setting and operating machines to produce precision components. Loading and unloading components and monitoring production. Selecting and changing tooling where required. Carrying out in-process inspection and quality checks. Reading and working from engineering drawings. Using a range of measuring equipment to ensure components meet specification. Making minor offsets and adjustments to maintain component quality. Working with a variety of materials including stainless steel, aluminium, brass, copper, titanium and other specialist alloys.
