The company specialises in the manufacture of high-precision components, working from prototypes and short batches through to larger volume production. The machining facility includes modern CNC turning and milling equipment, twin-spindle and multi-axis machinery. Responsibilities include:Operating CNC turning and/or milling machinery.Setting and operating machines to produce precision components.Loading and unloading components and monitoring production.Selecting and changing tooling where required.Carrying out in-process inspection and quality checks.Reading and working from engineering drawings.Using a range of measuring equipment to ensure components meet specification.Making minor offsets and adjustments to maintain component quality.Working with a variety of materials including stainless steel, aluminium, brass, copper, titanium and other specialist alloys.Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.Working closely w...
