CNC Machinist Weekend Shift

CNC Machinists (Grinders and EDM Operators) required for Weekend Day Shift 05 45 (Fri Sun) to join a well-established, growing manufacturer supplying high-precision components to the aerospace and power generation industries. What s on offer £19.62 per hour (including shift allowance) 36 hours - Weekends only Bonus scheme Overtime available and paid at enhanced rates 26 days holiday + 7 bank holidays Permanent, secure role with a growing manufacturer The role You ll operate CNC machinery to produce high-quality, precision components, ensuring all work meets strict quality and customer standards. Key responsibilities include: Operating CNC Grinding or EDM Machines, ensuring that parts are machined in accordance with the agreed method specification. Attain machine setting skills to enable machine set ups in line with Company requirements Understanding of engineering drawings, ensuring that fixtures are correctly aligned. Inspecting parts in line with quality procedures and taking any necessary, approved, action to resolve quality issues Operating CMM machines to support inspection requirement. Consistently achieving all targets (production, quality, housekeeping etc), as set by the Cell Manager Adherence to all company policy s and procedures, including SOX, Code of Conduct and Health and Safety.
