This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist who is confident working with large, complex components and has strong experience programming, setting and operating CNC machinery.The successful candidate will have a strong background in Siemens-controlled CNC machining, ideally with Siemens 840D, and will be comfortable working predominantly on large horizontal boring and milling machines.This is a varied workshop environment, offering the opportunity to work on one-off components, repair work, specialist machining and large-scale engineering projects rather than repetitive production work.The Role As a CNC Setter / Operator / Programmer, you will be responsible for taking machining jobs from drawing through to finished component. You will be expected to confidently programme, set and operate CNC machinery, selecting the appropriate tooling, workholding and machining methods to achieve the required standards.The role will be heavily focused on horizontal boring and milling, making this an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC miller looking to develop further within heavy engineering.Key ..... full job details .....
