Position: CNC Machinist (Turning)Salary: 18.00 - 20.00 per hour (Permanent Contract)Location: Milton KeynesProactive currently have an exciting opportunity for a CNC Machinist to begin work for a leading manufacturing and production business based in Milton Keynes. Due to rapid company expansion and an ever growing order book, our client is hoping to recruit at least one additional CNC Machinist to help ensure the quality and accuracy of the site''s function is well maintained throughout this new and excited influx of work. ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC lathe machines to perform various machining operationsRead and interpret engineering drawings to determine machining requirementsMonitor machine operations to ensure proper functioningInspect finished components for accuracy and qualityMake adjustments to machine settings as neededMaintain a clean and organised work areaRequirementsProficiency in operating CNC lathe machinesSetting and Operating CNC MachinesAbility to use hand tools effectivelyMechanical knowledge for troubleshooting machine issuesExperience with materials handling and toolingExperience in programming Doosan 220LSY, 220, 2100L with bar feeders or other similar multi axes machines advantageous.SkillsCollaborate with team members to achieve production targetsAbility to assemble and handle materials effectivelyProficiency in basic maths for measurements and calculationsKnowledge of Fanuc softwareProgramming experience advantageousCompetence in using ..... full job details .....
