Cnc Machinist

Thrive Personnel Ltd are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join our clients manufacturing team in Bradford. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machinery, including homag CNCs and beam saws, to produce high-quality components for shop-fitting projects. The role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of CNC programming and machine operation. Responsibilities: - Set up and operate CNC machines, including human CNCs and beam saws, according to specifications and drawings. - Load and unload materials, ensuring proper alignment and securing of workpieces. - Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM files. - Monitor machine operation to detect malfunctions or deviations from specifications. - Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts. - Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and dimensional accuracy using precision measuring instruments. - Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
