CNC Machinist

Job Title: CNC Miller / CNC Machinist Location: Stanhope Hourly Rate: Competitive Shift: Permanent night shift (4 day week) The Company Theo James are recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded UK engineering manufacturer known for its quality workmanship and long-term career opportunities. Due to an employee moving to a position closer to home, the company is looking to add an experienced CNC Miller to its machine shop. The business offers a supportive working environment, modern machinery and stable, long-term employment. The Role This is a hands-on CNC machining position working predominantly on CNC milling machines, most likely Doosan machines with Fanuc controls. You will be responsible for setting and operating CNC machinery to manufacture precision components in accordance with engineering drawings and required quality standards. Although this is primarily a milling role, there may occasionally be a requirement to load components onto CNC lathes. Turning will not form a significant part of the position. The company is ideally looking for somebody who can work confidently with minimal supervision and is specifically seeking a permanent night-shift opportunity.
