You will operate large CNC machine tools, ensuring production requirements are achieved efficiently and safely while maintaining outstanding quality standards. Your responsibilities as a CNC Machinist will include: Operating CNC machines/work centres safely and in line with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Working collaboratively with production control, engineering, maintenance, and quality teams. Machining to exacting engineering drawings and specifications, maintaining accuracy and consistency. Editing and modifying CNC programs when required. Recording work accurately via the shop floor system, ensuring activities align with production schedules. Carrying out inspections using a wide range of calibrated measuring equipment. Supporting and mentoring apprentices and trainees within the machine shop. Demonstrating a proactive approach to Health and Safety by following company policies. Undertaking additional duties to support the success of the wider team and business.
