This is offered on a permanent basis with ongoing training and development.   The purpose of this role is to successfully run CNC /Manual machines within a heavy engineering environment.   Main duties of the CNC Machinist: Ensure machining operations and processes are effectively carried out by the approved manufacturing route and quality standards. Actively pursue continuous improvements in assembly methods and techniques and make recommendations for implementation when required. Ensure all machinery and equipment is maintained and regularly checked for lubrication. Take care of measuring equipment and report on any defective, or out-of-calibration items.
