We''re looking for someone who knows their way around a machine shop and can confidently take responsibility for setting, machining and checking their own work. What you''ll be doing Setting and operating CNC machinery, predominantley VMC Machines Working accurately from engineering drawings Making programme edits and adjustments where required Selecting tooling and setting offsets Producing and inspecting first-off components Machining components to tight tolerances Carrying out dimensional and quality checks throughout production Keeping machines running efficiently and maintaining good shop-floor standards What we need This isn''t purely an operator role.
