CNC Machinist Setter/Operator

We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Machinist Setter/Operator to join a busy engineering and manufacturing environment in Barton-upon-Humber.This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist with experience in CNC milling and turning, looking for a hands-on role working to high standards and tight tolerances.The Role You will be responsible for setting and operating CNC machinery, producing high-quality precision components from engineering drawings. The role will involve working with CNC lathes and milling machines, with the opportunity to gain experience on 5-axis machinery.Key Responsibilities Programming and setting CNC machineryOperating CNC lathes and milling machinesWorking from engineering drawings and specificationsSetting tools and checking machine settingsProducing first-off components and carrying out dimensional checksMeasuring components using precision inspection equipmentMaintaining high standards of quality throughout productionLoading and unloading CNC machinery as requiredSupporting the wider engineering team with assembly and manufacturing tasksMaintaining a safe and tidy working environmentFollowing all company health and safety proceduresWorking effectively as part of a team to meet production requirements Skills and Experience Previous CNC milling and turning experience is essentialExperience setting and operating CNC machineryExperience with Hurco machinery would be advantageousAbility to read and work from engineering ..... full job details .....
