The Role CNC Machinist / Setter Operator Set, operate and, where appropriate, programme CNC machine tools Manufacture complex precision components to tight tolerances Interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation Carry out first-off, in-process and final inspection activities Use precision measuring equipment including micrometers, verniers and gauges Monitor tooling performance and tool wear Maintain quality standards and support continuous improvement activities Work closely with production and engineering teams to deliver customer requirements Level 1 Senior CNC Machinist Fully competent in programming, setting and operating CNC machines independently Able to manufacture complex components with minimal supervision Support and mentor less experienced operators Level 2 CNC Setter Operator Confident setting and ..... full job details .....
