Skilled CNC EngineerSalary: Circa £35,000Location: SouthendHours: Monday to Thursday, 06:45 - 16:30 (37-hour week)Are you an experienced CNC Engineer looking to develop your skills further? We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and adaptable CNC Engineer to join a busy precision engineering environment supporting the aerospace sector.This role is ideal for a candidate who has experience setting and operating CNC machinery and is eager to expand their capabilities by learning centreless grinding as part of their day-to-day responsibilities.The RoleReporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for setting and running a variety of CNC and secondary operation machine tools while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and productivity.Key ResponsibilitiesSet and operate CNC machines, lathes, and manual machines.Learn and develop centreless grinding skills as part of the role.Safely operate secondary operation machinery including thread rollers, part markers, drill banks, depitching presses, torque testers, and deburring equipment.Carry out first-off inspections, buddy checks, and in-process quality inspections.Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.Accurately measure components using micrometres and other inspection equipment, working to tight tolerances.Manufacture components in line with quality standards and aerospace industry requirements.Complete daily maintenance checks and production documentation.Identify ..... full job details .....
