CNC Milling Machinist - Programmer / Setter / OperatorLocation: Romford, EssexJob Type: Full-timeWe are seeking a skilled CNC Milling Machinist with expertise in programming, setting, and operating 5-axis Matsuura machines among others. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in aerospace, although this is preferred but not essential. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with high-precision components and receive training on various high-tech machinery.Day-to-day of the role:Set up and operate CNC machines including Matsuura (MAM72-52, MAM72-42, MAM72-35), DMU, Mori Seki (NH4000 and 5000 DCG Horizontal Pallet, Eco line 50), and HAAS (Mini Mill, VF1, VF2, VF3).Program CNC machines to produce precision parts and instruments.Modify programs in response to problems or component specifications.Ensure machines are set up properly, working well, and producing quality product.Make calculations for programming including where materials should be cut.Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines as they arise.Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages.Required Skills and Qualifications:Proven experience as a CNC Miller, particularly in programming, setting, and operating machines.Strong understanding of ISO NC Programs.Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and design models.Precision and attention to detail, suitable for working within tight limits.Experience in the aerospace sector is advantageous but not ..... full job details .....
