Working within a modern manufacturing environment, you will play a key role in producing high-integrity components for globally recognised customers. The Role The successful candidate will work across the machine shop, operating both manual and CNC machine tools to manufacture components to exact customer specifications and quality standards. Key responsibilities include: Setting and operating manual and CNC machine tools. Interpreting engineering drawings and process sheets to determine machining requirements and setups. Measuring, marking out and machining components to specified tolerances. Using precision measuring equipment to inspect your own work and support quality standards throughout production. Completing production and quality documentation accurately. Carrying out first-line maintenance and daily equipment checks. Reporting machine faults or operational issues to the Team Leader. Supporting final inspection activities and ensuring customer specifications are achieved. Assisting with dispatch activities and associated paperwork when required.
