CNC Machinist

Title: CNC Machinist Location: Corby, NorthamptonShift: Monday to Friday - rotating days, backs, and nights (15-shift days per month)Salary: Circa 36,000 - 38,000 per annum (including shift allowance) The Company: We are undergoing substantial investment and development to drive the organisation''s mission of being a sustainable metal provider. This role is ideal for someone with strong machining and engineering skills and is secure, progressive, and part of an exciting investment programme.Key Responsibilities:Produce and repair one-off and small-batch components.Operate a wide range of machines, including CNC lathes/mills, manual lathes, boring mills, grinders, and more.Work with precision to engineering drawings and specifications.Manufacture items to a high standard, meeting all deadlines.Assist in the transition to our new, modern Engineering Shop.Support apprentice training.Manage the collection and delivery of samples and stands on-site.Actively participate in continuous improvement and maintain high safety and housekeeping standards.Adhere to all works procedures, PPE instructions, and UK Health and Safety legislation.Required Skills and Experience:Essential Qualifications and ExperienceTime-served apprenticeship and/or NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering.Proven experience working in a heavy industrial environment.Proficiency with manual lathes, milling machines, and standard workshop tools.Understanding of safe systems of work.Full UK Driving Licence and access ..... full job details .....
