The Role – CNC Machinist The successful candidate will be responsible for: Machining tooling and forgings to specified engineering drawings. Manual turning and CNC machining, including both milling and turning. Operating and understanding Fanuc controls . Producing high-precision components to tight tolerances. Reading and interpreting engineering drawings. Carrying out basic maintenance on CNC machinery. Using a range of precision measuring equipment, including: Micrometers Vernier calipers Wall thickness meters Surface roughness gauges Essential Experience & Skills A minimum of 5 years' experience working within a high-precision manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of CNC machining processes. Experience with Fanuc controls. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Excellent communication skills.
