The Role CNC Machinist The successful candidate will be responsible for: Machining tooling and forgings to specified engineering drawings. Manual turning and CNC machining, including both milling and turning. Operating and understanding Fanuc controls. Producing high-precision components to tight tolerances. Reading and interpreting engineering drawings. Carrying out basic maintenance on CNC machinery. Using a range of precision measuring equipment, including: Micrometers Vernier calipers Wall thickness meters Surface roughness gauges Essential Experience and Skills A minimum of 5 years'' experience working within a high-precision manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of CNC machining processes. Experience with Fanuc controls. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Excellent communication skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Qualifications and Additional Skills Apprentice trained in Mechanical Manufacturing or an equivalent qualification.
