We re looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team, working on a continental shift pattern and machining products to exacting customer specifications. This is a hands-on role where precision, mechanical ability and attention to detail really matter. You ll be setting and operating a range of CNC and conventional machinery, producing high-quality products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Commutable from: -Birmingham, Walsall, Sutton Coldfield, Moseley, Halesowen, Aston, Willenhall, Wednesbury, Dudley, Solihull, Kingswinford and Tamworth Duties Set and operate CNC milling and turning equipment, alongside other machinery. Machine and cut products to detailed drawings and specifications. Set tooling, adjust machine parameters and check equipment is correctly calibrated. Carry out dimensional and quality inspections using approved measuring equipment. Identify and record material and product references to maintain full traceability. Carry out routine machine checks, basic maintenance and fault finding. Safely handle and move materials using forklifts, cranes and lifting equipment full training provided where required.
