CNC Machinist - Points and CrossingsLocation: Lillie Bridge Depot, London Hours: 35 hours per week Contract: 6 months rollingPay: 44.49 per hour (Inside IR35) The RoleWe are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join a busy rail engineering team based onsite at Lillie Bridge Depot.The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC machines, producing high-quality components to engineering drawings and required tolerances.Key ResponsibilitiesProgramme, set and operate CNC machinery using Heidenhain controlsRead and interpret engineering drawings and technical specificationsSelect appropriate tooling, speeds and feedsCarry out machining operations to required tolerances and quality standardsInspect finished components using appropriate measuring equipmentIdentify and resolve machining issues and make programme/tooling adjustments where requiredMaintain a safe, clean and efficient working environmentRequirementsProven experience as a CNC MachinistStrong Heidenhain control and programming experience - essentialExperience programming, setting and operating CNC machinesAbility to read and work from engineering drawingsGood knowledge of machining processes, tooling and inspectionStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityPrevious experience within an engineering, manufacturing or maintenance environment is desirableAbility to work onsite at Lillie Bridge DepotDisclaimer:This vacancy is being advertised by either Advanced Resource ..... full job details .....
