CNC Machinist Milling / Mill-Turn

Mazco Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well-established precision engineering manufacturer in Birmingham that is investing heavily in advanced machining technology and continues to secure long-term contracts across high-specification industries.

We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist with strong milling experience and familiarity with Hurco, GROB, or DMG Mori machinery. Candidates with CNC Mill-Turn experience will have a significant advantage.

The Role

• Program, Set and operate advanced CNC machining centres
• Produce high-precision components to tight tolerances
• Perform tooling changes, offsets, and machine adjustments
• Read and interpret engineering drawings
• Conduct in-process inspection using standard measuring equipment
• Work closely with programming and quality teams to ensure efficient production

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, CNC Miller, or CNC Setter/Operator
• Experience working with Hurco, GROB, or DMG Mori machines
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong understanding of machining principles and precision engineering
• Experience with 5-axis machining would be beneficial
• CNC Mill-Turn experience is highly desirable
• Ability to work independently and maintain high-quality standards
