CNC Miller - Skilled Machinist - Shift The Role We are looking for an experienced CNC Miller to join our manufacturing team. This is a hands-on machining role for a skilled, time-served CNC Setter/Operator with strong experience working on Mazak milling machines. You will be responsible for producing high-quality, precision components from engineering drawings, working to tight tolerances and maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Produce accurate, high-quality precision components from engineering drawings. Competently set and operate CNC milling machines, with particular emphasis on Mazak equipment. Work with 3, 4 and 5-axis milling machines. Work to tight engineering tolerances and inspect your own work to ensure it meets specification. Carry out quality checks on all completed jobs. Interpret engineering drawings and follow written manufacturing instructions. Work efficiently while maintaining consistently high standards of quality. Take responsibility for your work and use your own initiative to resolve manufacturing issues where appropriate. Understand and contribute to all aspects of the manufacturing process. Clean and maintain CNC machines, tooling, equipment and the surrounding work area. Follow all company health, safety and quality procedures. Work effectively both independently and as part of a wider manufacturing team.
